Nate DeWaele :: Art
My process starts in chaos. Materials, marks, and ideas pulled together before I know what they’ll become. Acrylic, graphite, collage, whatever the piece calls for, layered without a fixed plan.The work happens in bringing that chaos into balance: finding the composition, the color, the restraint that lets the piece hold together without losing what made it alive in the first place.
The last step is curation, deciding what’s finished, what’s shown, what’s set aside. That decision is where I feel most like an artist: not just making, but choosing.Feel Free to reach out if you would like to work with me.
